I am currently in the process of venturing off and starting my own Interior Design company. To give you an idea about how I have come to this place here is a bit of background. I like many young girls always fancied 'redecorating' which entailed a weekly furniture re-arrange and parent begging session for a new comforter. This eventually developed into enrolling in the Interior Design department at the University of Kentucky. I wanted to ensure myself and my parents that I would leave college with a skill set that allowed me to be a candidate for employment- Interior Design allowed the opportunity for a solid mix of computer and drafting skills as well as creative thought. After graduating from school I packed my bags and moved across the country to Los Angeles. I began my career as an intern and junior designer at Annette English and Associates. Annette is an amazing designer and even more importantly- a wonderful person. She was encouraging and truly nurtured my beginning phases as a designer. After 2-1/2 years I decided it was time to experience something new and moved on to Madeline Stuart, a legend in the design community. Madeline is tough and brilliantly creative. I learned a multitude working under her as a Junior Designer. Unfortunately the economy got the best of things. I then moved on to a smaller up and coming designer Katie Fine. Katie provided a wonderful work environment and is an energetic and creative designer. I project managed her clients homes in Las Vegas, Pacific Palisades and Beverly Hills.

I am now working with my own clients on their residential and commercial projects. The purpose of this blog is to share with others the many sources of inspiration and design solutions that I come across every day.
